"Porch Step" is the second single from REC's 2024 album, Kite To Camden. It's an updated version of  the kind of 1990s-2000s alt rock NICK & REC were known for.

The lyrics are about a guy sitting on his porch step, trying to figure out his purpose in life, and debating whether his inability to move is about fear, or his subconscious telling him to spend less time being "productive" and more time just existing.
