About the Song

"All On Me" is the first single from REC's 2024 album, Kite To Camden. It's pure pop, meshing Nick DeMatteo's origins as a pop singer/songwriter with REC's electro power pop, and bringing it all home with a 2024 sound.

The lyrics tell a story of a guy coming to terms with his responsibility in a failing relationship. Mistakes he's made in thought, word and action. And his determination to fix things, despite still messing up & not really knowing how to be better. It's a straightforward song with a lot of twists.
